Hygrotus inaequalis

On this picture you see the 2.7 mm sized beetle floating at the surface. Mark how the legs the are folded in a corner below the wingcases. They may be folded in there completely. The "fur collar" of unicellular organisms probably are Opercularia, a protozoa species, also called Bell animalcules. Below a close-up of those protozoa
