Lesser Water Boatman, head
Like the front of a diesel train is the head of this 7 millimetres sized lesser water boatman the
"make way" for its voyages under water. Notice the strange details: the antenna behind the head, the
shield on top of the chest with the remarkable baffled margin, and the silvery gloss of the
breathing air under it. More details: the hairs on the snout and front legs and the large eye with
its hundreds of facets.
