Sigara falleni
Lesser Water Boatman, aft point
On this picture we are looking from down under to the aft point of Sigara falleni, a small
Lesser Water Boatman species. Note the long hairs on this point, an opening in the air bubble at the aft
and two micro-organisms on the margin, possibly a silicon algae species: Rhoicosphenia
curvata. With a little more difficulty you may see part of the under side of the front wings: they
are wider than the abdomen.
