Corixa sp.
Corixa, hind lobes
These are a Corixa species "hind lobes". They help the insect keeping the air
in between the front wings and the body. De hairs are greasy and prevent the intrusion of
water in the air bubble. The open space between the lobes helps ejecting the excrements of
the animal directly into the water
