Micronecta species
In this side view Micronecta has the typical appearance of the lesser water boatman.
Typical: in a tilted forward posture, the front legs curved under the head. The left hind leg
is pictured unsharp as a faint brown spot. The picture shows the base of the sieving hairs on
the frontlegs, the hairs on the back and the transparancy of the middle legs.
